Serious Stuff!
As a youngster I lived on a farm and was taught not to kill black snakes because they kill poisonous snakes as well as rats. Here's the first proof I've seen of a black snake devouring a rattler. The guy who snapped the photos said the rattler was still rattling all the way down! You can actually see that in photo #5.
