The lying sack of shit has announced his hourly lie and the MSM is lapping it up. They report that The One told his staff to find ways to cut $100 million from the budget. Wow! A whole whopping $100 million!
Let’s see now… An Obama budget of $3.5 trillion, less $100 million = 0.0029%.
Translated to a family budget of $35,000 — just above the poverty level — 0.0029% = $101.50 year. I used $35,000 to minimize how silly the cut is. If $50,000 or $100,000 is used, the results of multiplying by 0.0029% will look even more ridiculous, i.e.:
$35,000 = $102 year or $8.45 mo.
$50,000 = $145 year or $12.08 mo.
$100,000 = $290 year or $24.16 mo.
If you know somebody living on $35,000 per year, you may be comforted to know they can match BHO’s frugalness by cutting back on driving and saving four gallons of gas.
What a bunch of assholes!
Update:
Rush Limbaugh put a better perspective on this subject today. He said the reason Hussein made the $100 million gesture instead of making real cuts was to appease empty heads into thinking he’s doing something significant. $100 million sounds much bigger than $4 trillion. I suppose that’s why the MSM seems so impressed.
BTW: Note that the $100 million Obama claims he will cut is 1/35,000th of his current budget.
