Trump Quits Trump Entertainment as Debt Payment Deadline Looms

Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) — Donald Trump resigned from the board of debt-laden Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. as bondholders weighed forcing the casino company he founded into involuntary bankruptcy next week.

“I have nothing to do with it. I’m not in it, I’m not on the board,” Trump, who was chairman, said in a telephone interview yesterday. He said he had “no idea” whether there will be a bankruptcy filing.

Let me get this straight...

We�re going [08/24/09] to pass a health care plan written by a committee whose head says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president that also hasn’t read it (and who smokes) with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s nearly broke.

What possibly could go wrong?
