Condi’s First Proud Moment?

Lawrence Auster @ VFR has a reaction to this remark by Condoleezza Rice speaking at the State Department:

The United States of America is an extraordinary country. It is a country that has overcome many, many, now years, decades, actually a couple of centuries of trying to make good on its principles. And I think what we are seeing is an extraordinary expression of the fact that ‘We the people’ is beginning to mean all of us. [Italics added.]

I have pretty strong reactions myself. One is I’m not surprised, not in the least. Another is that besides taking over a screwed up State Department and making it worse, she now admits that she harbors the same anti-American hostilities as Marxist Michelle Obama.

And this is the person that Dick Morris — and lot’s of Republicans — touted as a candidate for the GOP ticket.
