The Democrat’s No Drilling Zone

With oil at $134.00 per barrel and gas @ $4.00 gallon it’s time to take another look at the Democrat’s NO DRILLING ZONE here in the U.S. The image here shows part of the zone but that’s not all. There’s the North Slope of Alaska with one of the world’s largest reserves of oil but it, too, falls in the Donk’s NO DRILLING ZONE.

Then let’s not forget the world’s largest reserves. That would be oil shale in Wyoming and Colorado. Most experts say that there’s enough oil locked in the shale to last the U.S. for at least 200 years, but the Dems say NO.

Oh, and BTW: China is setting up to start drilling for oil in Cuban waters, just 45 miles off the coast of Florida, but American companies are prohibited, that means FORBIDDEN by Democrats, from drilling the same distance away in American waters.

As I’ve said in the past, maybe we can start begging China for some of that good old Cuban oil.

In a 2006 interview Republican Sen. Mel Martinez told NPRs Debbie Elliott about his efforts to limit oil and gas exploration along Florida’s coast.

That’s one. McCain makes two, and I’ll bet you can find another two or three but your point is as phony as a three dollar bill and you know it. 90%+ of the Donks vote NO compared to 90%+ of Republicans voting yes. That leaves my statement as TRUE. The Democrats created the NO ZONE and they still own the NO ZONE.

  3. Helen Says:

We are allowing our own oil fields to be drilled by countries that do not look on the U.S. with favor. Why are we catering to these people? We will have an internal war if things aren’t resolved.

  4. charles Says:

I say lets drill where we need to. If China can drill 45 miles from us, what will it hurt to drill ourselves in our own waters and country. Wyoming and Colorado has enough oil to last us 200 years. Let the people that own that land make the money instead of funding our enimies, so they can keep fighting us. We are supposed to be the strongest country, not the stupid country.

  5. Greg B. Says:

And you people actually think drilling in these zones will lower the cost of gasoline? C’mon, honestly – do you really think drilling in these zones will lower the price?

  6. Tom Swartsbally Says:

So when and who started these “no drill zones”, Dems or Repubs?

Under whos presidental watch did it happen?

Could have successive administrations and Congress opened up the area and didn’t?

Why did the Dems vote against opening up this areas?

Why can’t the Repubs horse trade some to get them open?

  7. Tom Swartsbally Says:

While everyone is fighting over opening up Western states federal lands to oil shale extraction why not just start with all the private oil shale bearing land that are available? If this land is so rich in oil and it is so easy extract make deals with the local ranchers. They’d love to lease their properties and receive and 3/8 share of all oil extracted plus hefty signing bonus’s and rental fees, provide you develope in a timely manner and just not lease and run. I have read somewhere some of the areas contain more than 1 million barrels of oil per acre!!!!!

Dang, with all this easy money to be made on readily available private land why is everyone worried about the Federal stuff? Come one your lasy a*ss Entrepreneurs stop worrying about the Dems, Repubs, Congress and the Pres and get out there to Colorado and the West and start making some easy cash!!!!!!
