Federal Agencies Pay Environmental Groups To Sue Them

Under the Equal Access to Justice Act, or EAJA — which was signed into law by President Carter in 1980 – federal agencies pay “plaintiff” lawyers as much as $750 per hour to sue the agencies.

No, I did not make that up.
